Question Hi Carol
I got your answer about refridgeration
Please explain :-
My Fridge does not have an 'Ice Box' unit inside
Neither does my Freezer
Which are the coldest and warmest areas?
Answer Hi Frank,
So -- you are saying your refrigerator is ONLY a refrigerator and your freezer is ONLY a freezer....right?
According to Cook's Illustrated Magazine, the warmest part of a refrigerator is the middle shelf on the door and the front portion of the bottom shelf. The meat compartment registered as the coldest. See this website for the complete article: http://www.cooksillustrated.com/images/document/howto/MA01_ILRefrigerator.pdf
The only way to really know the warmest/coolest areas of your refrigerator/freezer is to place refrigerator/freezer thermometers in several locations, close the door and wait several hours. Then check the thermometers. This should give you a good idea of the temperature inside your refrigerator and freezer.
