Question With Freezers and Fridges;
Which area is the coldest
Which area is the warmest
(Top / Bottom)
Answer Hi Frank,
Do you mean within a refrigerator/freezer where is the coldest spot/warmest spot? If so...it depends where your freezer section is located.
If the freezer section is on the top -- the coldest area of your refrigrator will be at the top of the refrigerator section. If the freezer is on the bottom -- the coldest area will be on the bottom part of the refrigerator.
You should aim to have the warmest part of your refrigerator 38-40 degrees. This will make your coldest area around 36-38 degrees. The aim of a refrigerator is to keep food at an internal temperature of 41 degress or below.
I hope this answers your question. If not, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Carol C. Schlitt
