Question
has there been any OFFICIAL reassurance about the safety of pinach in U.S.? is it still a little risky or has there been a change

Answer
Hi Sheba,

Yes -- the FDA issued an "all clear" statement early in October.

Please visit this website for their official statement and information on the source of the E. coli:

Personally, I feel spinach is probably the safest product to eat at this time as it is under very close observation for any problems. I'm headed to the store now to purchase food and fresh spinach is on my list!!

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
