Question
II was wondering would you please tell me: is it a fact that these foods can make us fart:

Cabbage?
Beans?
Onion?
Broccoli / Cauliflower?

If the answer in "yes it is a fact" would you please explain to me why that is?

(P.S would you please try to give your answer in a easy way that I can understand)
Thanks

Answer
Cameron,
Yes in general it is a fact.  These foods contain materials that are not broken down in the stomach.  They then go to the large bowel where they are acted on by bacteria.  As a result of this action gases are produced.

Hope this is helpful.
