Question
my name is AJ bunn and i go to BHMS and will be going to RBHS next year. all my friends are doing football and i feel a little left out cuz i dont think im built for football, im a soccer player mostly. Im 5'6 115 lbs and i dont know if im really cut out for football. i would like to play either running back, cuz i have good speed and agility or play wide receiver cuz i have good hands and am quick. what should i do?

AJ, The first thing you need to do to play football, is get rid of the negative attitude. It sounds to me, that you are still going to grow a lot more. So be positive take to the field with an attitude, because to be a good football player you can't play the game scared. Try your hardest at everything you do. The coaches will then see your work ethic and desire for the game. Then you will be able to play any spot you want. When I played freshman football I was around your size, maybe a little bigger, but I was confident that I could play, and I started on both offense and defense. So work hard go to all the summer practices and make a name for yourself as a hard worker, this will go a long way. GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!!!
