Question
Hey coach, I'm a Freshman linebacker. I seem to have a little more strength then anyone else on the team. I'm as fast as most of our wide outs but I can't keep up with our RB. Can you tell me how to get faster? Thanks.

Answer
Speed doesn't come over night.  It is something that you have to work on year round.  I would first suggest becoming as flexible as possible.  When you stretch each day, stretch hard.  Remember flexible muscles are faster.  Also be sure to run your sprints hard ever single day.  Hard work on your sprints will make you faster.  Running hills will make you faster as well.  Be sure that next spring you run track.  This will teach you the form you need to get faster.  GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!
