Subject: Am I big enough to play high school football?

Question
I'm going into my freshman year of high school this year and I really want to
play football. I'm 5'6 but I only weigh about 100 lbs. I'm tall and lanky and I
find it pretty hard to gain weight. I'm pretty fast and I'm pretty strong for my
build. I've never played on a real football team before, I've only played in the
backyard and the park with my friends. I want to know if I'm big enough for
freshman football and if I am what position I should play?

Answer
Jeff even though you a pretty small, it you really want to play football you can.  Football isn't all about size and strength, its also about heart!  If you work hard and learn the game, you will find a spot on the team.  It is all up to you, it you want it you can have it.  Football is a great sport and I hope the best for you.  COACH NOEL!
