Subject: get by the bump as a tight end

Question
i have big trouble against the bump when i go out on a route, the LB always gets a good bump on me. What can i do to avoid this(swim or hammer moves?)

Answer
Step one is not to run straight ahead, to where the lb is standing.  You know your route he does not.  If you get jamed by him you will never get a ball thrown your way.  So what I would suggest is giving a juke move on him.  Or bowing your route around the  lb so he cannot hit you so clean.  Bowing means avoiding his contact.  This will help you get to your route more effectivily and get you more receptions.
