I will not dignify rude or disparaging comments with a response. I also will not entertain questions that use profanity. Football officials don't seek to “screw” any team Such an insinuation is ridiculous and ludicrous.
Question Hi, I wear a glasses and i have astigmatism an dthe past season in pop warner I just played without them. I had a hard time seeing the scoreboard and i couldn't see things like the signs the coaches give the captains like me. I am wondering is it possile to get a prescription visor in freshman football and if so where can I get it.
Answer Jeff
It is allowed under both high school and college rules to wear a prescription visor as long as there is no tinting/color in the visor. I have had some difficulty finding a manufacture who will make prescription visors. If you contact an optometrist who specializes in sports glasses or works with athletes he/she may be able to make you some.
