AboutDarrel Expertise I can answer most general NFL questions, don't know much about the college game. I can help with any kind of rules questions, federation, college, or pro.
Question If I can buy "Will & Grace - the Entire Third Season" on DVD, will I ever be able to buy, for example, "The 1976 Minnesota Vikings - Entire Season" on DVD (Showing every game in it's entirety played by the Vikes in 1976)? The NFL has released a small collection of classic games on DVD - will they ever release all of them? How about all of the Superbowls in their entirety? All of the playoff games? Any chance they will be put "On Demand"? Why doesn't this happen? The technology is available and the NFL would make good money in sales from it..

The main part of the problem is that most games that were taped prior to say 1980 were not kept. The tapes were recycled and used for the next game. NFL films shoots every game and that's about the only place you might be able to see vintage highlight reels. Someday you may get to see some old stuff, but don't hold your breath. The NFL network shows a bunch of different stuff especially during the off-season, but most of it is fairly new, and the old-time highlights are NFL Films stuff that you've probably seen 1,000 times already.
