Question i was driving down the interstate when my 94 ford ranger xlt suddenly shut off and came to a stop. now it will not start. what could it be? could it have something to do with the fuel pump or the filter?
Answer Fuel pump definatly... there are a fiew things to try... turn the key on and listen to the fuel pump. it should make a whirring sound... also you'll need to check for spark... get a spark tester... (Should not be more than a fiew dollars at the local parts store...) remove a plug wire and hook it up to the tester... have a friend crank the truck over... it should spark...
