Ford - Electronic problem?

Expert: Ken Surerus - 4/15/2005

Question
Hello Ken,
I have a 1999 Ford Taurus which will be running fine and then all of a sudden seems to loose power and will stall. Wiper blades will run, radio will die and then the car will restart without any problem. It seems to do this maybe once/month. I know its electronic but where do I begin?
Thanks

MARK

the problem could be many things.i would put the car on a scan tool, this cost about a 100 bucks but you can get it done for free at advance auto or autozone.(garages get upset with me for telling people about the free scan but iam here to help not rip off people).this is the best way to go or you could spends hundreds of dollars gussing.hope this helps.
