Question
Ok to make a long story short error code P1131...replaced O2 sensors  and still getting error on this....looked around on web and found out it might (slim chance) that the injectors might not be hooked up properly( had different motor put in). Where can i find a diagram of the injectors for this??? It's a 1998 Windstar 3.0.....am also checking on the connection of the O2 sensors to make sure that they are completely clean. No air leaks found either. Please help...this has been ongoing for a month and it's sucking gas like crazy.

Answer
Wendy,

I am recommending that you get yourself a Chilton's manual on the make, model and year of your vehicle as it is more comprehensive than a Haynes manual and should have the diagram that you are seeking (plus, you will have it for future repair reference!). Go to www.chiltons.com (I think that is the correct site) . Also your vehicle has 2 O2 sensors, one before and one after the catalytic converter. Did you replace both of them? If the wires are not hooked up correctly, they will not work. A bad catalytic converter will also give you an error code for a bad O2 sensor. Was the catalytic coverter checked to make sure it was good? Hope that this helps and if you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. Good luck.
