Ford/Remote operated rear window

Question
This is on a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer that has the rear window that can be operated with the keyless remote.  The window now occasionally opens by itself.  It happens in the garage or on the road.  We have eliminated the remotes by leaving them at home but the window still opened on its own.  Any thoughts on this would be most appreciated, thanks.

Answer
Mr. Emmond,

It sounds like yoy might have a short in the motor for the window or you have a bad switch. I am not sure but I think if you put a scan tool on your vehicle, you might be able to find the problem. You can go to your local Advanced Auto or Auto Zone and have this done for free (a $100 dollar savings for you). Hope that this helps and if you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. Good luck.
