Question
Hi, I have a 95 ford escort 2 dr hatchback. It was sold to us for the ripped off price of $1495 (the car was $500, we put in the rest because the mechanic said he wouldn't inspect it without $900 worth of parts) anyway, the auto seat belts don't work, the interior light won't work when the doors open, the airbag's been replaced and the horn doesn't work(DMV says horn is mandatory for inspection) and the horn fuse isn't in box in the car or under the hood and we can't seem to locate it to make it work....can you help?

Answer
Models with 1.8L engines (6007) use a dual horn system. One low-pitch horn (13833) is mounted on the RH side of the vehicle frame behind the front bumper (17757). The other high-pitch horn (13832) is mounted on the LH side of the vehicle frame behind the front bumper.

The high-pitch horn for models with 1.9L engines is mounted on the LH side of the vehicle frame behind the front bumper.

The horn relay is mounted on the relay mounting bracket (14A301) below the instrument panel (04320) on the LH side of the vehicle, above the interior fuse junction panel.
