Question Don't really know how, but I opened it, and now it will not close. No sounds, no clicking, nothing. It make a clicking sound and will move a little bit to try and go back, but that's all. I tried to pull it closed but it won't budge. Any advice???? Your help is greatly appreciated.
ps - rain is in the forecast all week long ;-)
Answer Rain and open sunroofs, not a good combo.
You may have something binding or stuck. Sometimes the track will get out of place or jammed and this can break a piece of plastic off and cause problems. Perhaps the motor has failed.
You will not be able to move it manually, unless you can access the moonroof motor, by lowering the headliner. Using a 5/32" allenwrench, you should be able to close the sunrrof, but if you force it may do more damage. If the motor is inop, this may work for you.
Try looking into the tracks of the sunroof with a flashlight, see if anything is laying in the channel or looks obviously out of place. Good luck
