Question I can not get the door door ajar light to go off. I have check all the doors and trunk lid. I can not get the light to go off at all I've pushed on every door and trunk to see if it was maybe loose but no luck. If you can help I would be very thankful.
Answer these vehicles have the switch built on to the door latches-you might try spraying wd40 or pb blaster in door latch and then shutting the door repeatedly alternating between lube and door shutting-the switches get gummed up-the switch can be bought seperately but i have put switches in and they only worked temporarily and i ended up replacing the latch-it is controlled through a gem module but most of the time it is at the latch
sometimes they will act up after being washed or in heavy rain.
