Question Hello,
I have a 1994 F350. 460 V8 with automatic trans.
My problem is that even with all fresh tuneup parts and fuel filters, the
truck won't start cold unless you crank the engine, stop cranking for just a
second and then hit it again. Then it will light right up. Warm engine doesn't
seem to do it.
Any ideas would be great. Thank you in advance!

Answer first when you try to start it for the first time cold push accelerator about 1/2 way down before you hit the key then try it if it starts you may have a sticking iac motor-idle air control
if it does not it would be nice to know your fuel pressure so we could figure out which direction we need to go-no spark could mean-pick up coil, ignition switch, module, etc.
no fuel could mean leaking check valve in or just plain weak fuel pump-sticking or bad fuel pump or powertrain control module relay
have it scanned and see if you have any codes stored although don't just run out and buy a part just because someone read a code-even a broke vacuum hose can set a map sensor or oxygen sensor code for example.
