Subject: Moon Roof Leak

Question
I just bought a 2005 Ford Escape, the moon roof seems to be leaking at the rear where the seal meets. Is this a common trend and how can it be remedied? When I was checking for water pooling, there seemed to be none, It almost felt like there is some sort of channel to direct the water out and down the frame maybe? I was trying to find some sort of design sheet, but I was unable to. IF anyone knows anything about this please let me know. Thank you!

Answer
Mark, the answer is yes,the sunroof glass does have a drain track sitting under it. This track is equip with 4 sunroof drain tubes to channel water out of the management area. As long as the water is not dripping on your seats, your in good shape.
