Question
i replaced a/c compressor.evaced and recharged.it worked fine for a week, then caput.took apart to find the problem thinking it was a blockage of the filter screen.there was not much pressure in system and we couldnt find the screen.its a 1998 ford windstar 3.8l with rear air.do you know where to locate the filter and screen,if so      help.obviously we have a leak but where is this filter screen regulator thing....thank u   regards    colin.

Answer
the orifice tube is located in the condensor to evaporator tube other words the high pressure tube-small line from condensor to evaporator-with the line disconnected you should be able to look in the tube/line and see an object in the tube you may be able to pull it out with needle nose pliers but they make a remover tool for it. the expansion block is loacated in rear unit in side panel
