Question Tony: My daughter has a 1995 Ford Taurus with only 45,0000 miles on it. It will just all of a sudden quit running while driving for no reason. There are times that it won't start at all, but if she waits awhile, it will. We have had it looked at and had a relay switch replaced (supposedly a problem area for that year), but this did not help. She's away at college in another state, so her father and I don't quite know what to do. Any suggestions which direction to look? Thanks! Julie
Answer Hello Julie, I would have to guess the fuel pump, when the key is turned on to start vehicle listen for a humm from the back seat area. If there is no humm the fuel pump is not coming on or if the humm is loud the fuel pump is trying to pump but not turning quick enough. Hope this helps Thanks Tony
