Question
Good evening...my car has started this hesistation...Being a woman I don't know if that is the right expression for it but I can have the accelerator down and it will only be going about 20 then sometimes I just feel it in the accelerator, engine...My husband has fixed some things on it and it still does it...He thinks it is in the EGR valve but we replaced that and it was ok...it is a 5.0 v-8...I would appreciate any help you may have...if you have any further questions don't hesitate to email me...

Answer
Several culprits may be involved. In order to find the real culprit, have the trouble codes retrieved. This is a free service at most parts stores, in all states except California. Let me know what the codes, the numbers are. In the mean time, have your husband replace the fuel pressure. If the check engine light is not on, the problem is not a sensor. More than likely, your problem is fuel related, if that is the case.
