Ford Repair - Car stalling

Expert: Chris - 6/29/2009

Question
Hi Chris,
I have a 1995 Ford Taurus and it has been stalling every now and then. I had the fuel filter replaced and as soon as I did, it stalls every mile now. Do you have an idea on what it might be? I was told it is not the fuel pump, but really am not sure what it is. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

Answer
hey there.  unfortunatly this isssue can be almost anything, from a dirty mass air flow to a stuck idle air control motor. Is the check engine light on? is there an irratic idle when it does run? does it drive abnormaly when running? let me know
