Ford Repair - Dash Lights

Expert: Chris - 6/24/2009

Question
I have a couple dash lights burned out on 1997 Ford Ranger. What is the process to get at them?

Answer
hey  there,. it is pretty easy to get to these bulbs actually, where the instrument cluster is  located there will be a couple of 7mm srews holding the trim in located on the upper half, the trim should side out easily. then there will be 4 7mm screws holding in the cluster,  simply tilt the cluster forward disconnect the harness conector and replace necesary bulbs, install in opposite order, good luck
Chris
