Question
I have a 1989 ford E150 with A 5.8(351) EFI I have changed out the fuel pressure regulate I found a cut in one of the wires running to the throttle position senser  anyways the thing continues to flood itself out any ideas as to what it could be? I have good pressure to the injectors.

Answer
What trouble codes are present when you retrieve them. Your problem sounds like a faulty MAP sensor. It is located on the firewall above the intake. It is in close proximity to the wipers. Be sure and change the plugs, and a set of wires and fuel filter could not hurt as well. Another cause for excessive fuel are bad O2 sensors, but the trouble codes will tell you exactly if that is the case, and which sensors are the culprits.
