Ford Repair - fuel pump

Expert: Chris - 7/1/2009

Question
what is the factory psi for a 1962 ford falcon fuel pump with a 170 6 cylinder engine

Answer
hey there. sorry i dont work on vehicles this old,and we no longer hae access to service manuals for anything this old. but if this is a mechanical fuel pump, then i beleive the fuel pressure should be betwwen 9-15psi. for most electric fuel pumps you run betwwen 40 and 60 psi
good luck
Chris P
