Question
Tony, I have a couple of questions.
I'm building a 68 Ford Bronco it has a very tired 302 V-8. I have a possible donor "76" 302. If I done my research right then this is not an complete drop in. My 302 has a right hand drop on the water pump to radiator and the 76 a left.
Q 1. Can I get by changing the water pump to the older style?
Q 2. Is the oil pan a direct change over? (the bronco uses a different sump to clear the front axel.
Any help you can give me here will be great. Thanks

Answer
Hello Steven, When you are swapping to "updated" components there is really nothing to go by. Wherever you are getting your parts from look at the bolt pattern to make sure they match, if they match they should work for you. Good luck with your build.  Thanks Tony
