Ford Repair - cd changer

Expert: Steve H - 2/15/2006

Question
hello , i recently purchased a 2000 ford windstar se. i was wondering where is the cd changer located. it's not in the front dash. i have cd changer buttons like shuffle, ffwd,cd, etc. but where the heck is it. a friend of mine said it might be in the back.  thankyou

Answer
Pilisi-

Well, if the car has one it's likely in the back behind the back seat.  However, it may not have one at all.  Car companies don't install seperate radios for cars with and without changers, so if there was a CD changer option on a particular model, chances are that all of the radios have the same markings for seperate controls even if they don't have the option.  Hope this helps.
