Question
i have a 1986 f250 302efi i was wondering what the pros and cons are with removing the entire system and blocking all the lines

Answer
My first response is why? Are you having a problem you think is caused by the EGR? Which pump are you referring too?

The biggest problem might be getting a smog test, if your locality requires one. A minor possibility would be spark knock. The PCM on this year vehicle is programmed for all the equipment, if you remove any of it may cause other problems.
