Question Hi, I did not see an expert option that related to property up for auction after foreclosure, so if you can't help I understand. There is a land auction coming up soon and there is a house, barn and work shed included. The sign says it will be sold in tracts. Does that mean one person might get the bit of land with the house and another get the area with the barn? How much could I expect to spend? Resaca,Georgia. Can each person decide how many acres are going to be in their tract, or is there a plan already set?
Answer Auctions are not a part of my business plan. There are no provisions in an auction which allow me to be compensated for my time.
You should contact the company responsible for the auction for information. They should have the information available. You should also ask them the arrangements for paying at the auction. I have heard all sales have to be paid at the end of the auction in either cash or certified funds. Make sure you have the adequate paperwork for certified funds.
