Question
Hi Mr. Eckley,

I would like to know if the pilings with the pile guards are much better in quality than the simple pressing pilings.  Thank you very much.

Answer
Hello Chi

I'm not sure what type of Pile Guards you are speaking about?
Simple Hydraulically Pressed steel piers are sufficient to handle just about any heavy foundation quite well. Helical piers are absolutely the way to go in situations where the foundation load is fairly light, such as monolithic slab type of foundation, etc.

I wish you the best!
