QUESTION: I need code (to run in VFP 9) to (via modem):Dial a bulletin board, respond to prompts to; login, upload a file, download a file, logout.

ANSWER: Hi Marc,
What you are asking is itself an application. I suggest you to search for anyting available freely on commercial lines.

If you have any opinion, I'm happy to take it up.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: I didn't explain fully.

I am creating an application (actually rewriting an existing DOS/Clipper application) that creates a file (just a standard text file) containing medical claims (Medicare/Medicaid) which is transmitted to a bulletin board.

That program was written 15 years ago (and is still running for about 80 users) in Clipper 5.3.  I have a library for Clipper but the firm that produced it is nowhere to be found so there is no chance of a FoxPro version of it.

I have another library that will work with FoxPro but there isn't enough documentation or sample code for me (having no experience in the down and dirty) to try to write what I need.

I was hoping to find someone with experience in the area.

Answer
Hi Marc,
Thanks for your explaination. I can help you out in doing this. But I need more information on the clipper library and the exact functionality you want. If you wish, you can send me the details to my mail - markishh (at) gmail (dot) com

Best regards,
Markish
