Expertise
I live in Paris and I usually know what happens in my town concerning museums, theatre, music but also where to have a great hot chocolate or a nice walk in town. I have no direct knowledges for hotels (except their site).

Expert: Genevieve - 10/17/2009

Question
Bonjour.
I will be visiting Paris arriving dec 23 and leaving Jan 5.  Is there anything to do on Christmas day and New Year's day in Paris? Is anything open? Also, do museums and other attractions close on Dec 26?
Thanking you in a advance.
Yours sincerely,
Roger

Answer
Hello Roger

on Crhitmas day, maost of the museums are closed but you can enjoy the settings of the departmetn stores.
On 1 st januaray, somem sueums are opened, such as Musuem of tokyo. The best is ti check when you arrive eihter at your hotel either by purchasing Pariscope, the weekly magazine about Paris

Everything is open on 26th december

I hope you will enjoy your trip
