France - Parisian breakfast
Expert: Genevieve - 10/19/2009
Question Hi. Can you tell me what the typical Parisian breakfast consists of? Also, do people in Paris eat light throughout the day and then have a big dinner? Thanks
Answer Hello
usually, breakfast is coffee, bread with butter or jam. Sommem children eat corn flakes.
If you take it in a "café", ti will be coffee and croissant.
We do not eat during the day , except for lunch which is a usual meal (fisk or meat, and a fruit for example) and then at night usulaly, the family eat together with a meal that it more or less as the dinner.
We do not eat big at evenng except to celebrate something..
sincerely
Genevieve
