About Genevieve
Expertise
I live in Paris and I usually know what happens in my town concerning museums, theatre, music but also where to have a great hot chocolate or a nice walk in town. I have no direct knowledges for hotels (except their site).

Question
Hi again Genevieve,

We have got a Paris Visite Pass for public transport within zones 1-6. I am having trouble finding a website that tells me what areas or stations are within which zone. I particularly want to know this for when we go to Mont St Michel. I know we have to buy a ticket from Gare Montparnasse to Rennes but if we are already covered for zones 1-6 do use our Paris Visite card then buy another ticket that covers us from the zone 6 station (whatever that might be) to Rennes?

Answer
Hello Melina

I am sorry, but it will not be possible.
The paris pass is for parisian traffic.
Rennes is france transportation, you used a TGV. So you will have  to buy a ticket from Paris to Rennes

The only option is maybe to check if Chartres is cover by zone6, and take a train from paris to Chartres and then from Chartres to Rennes
It will take a lot of time for a small advantage on money.
the best way is to book very early on advance you ticket via

to get the best prices

Genevieve
