Question QUESTION: Hello Carla! We want to take the train from Avignon to Monterosso in Cinque Terre, instead of driving. One reason is that we did not plan on the Gran Prix!!!As you must know, this would be nightmare,to drive. How difficult are the train connections for this route?Thank You Maria
QUESTION: Thank you Carla,Yes it is an odyssey!! Oh my! Carla we have a big problem. Are there any inexpensive flights from Marseilles to Genoa? We are also thinking of driving A8 early on the morning of 21,which is the friday before the big weekend (Gran Prix)and maybe getting through it all without heavy traffic.Do you think that would work? I am trying to find a solution,we are stuck right now.I am staying in St Remy,so this is where we will be leaving from.Hoping for something positive!! Thank you Maria
Answer Hi Maria!
I'm afraid there are no direct flights between Marseilles and Genoa, inexpensive or otherwise.
Imho, you shouldn't have too many problems leaving France by car, since most people will be driving *to* France to attend the Grand Prix.
