France - Train service from Avignon to Montrosso

Hello Carla!We want to take the train from Avignon to Monterosso in Cinque Terre,instead of driving.One reason is that we did not plan on the Gran Prix!!!As you must know,this would be nightmare,to drive.How difficult are the train connections for this route?Thank You Maria

If you go to http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=ad1ce14114bc9110VgnVCM100000... and type Avignon (From) and Monterosso (to), you'll find several options. As you will see, it's quite an odyssey!:-/
