France - Water

Question
Hello

I was just wondering if there are drinking water fountains around Paris - and if the tap water was fine for drinking??  Just wondering so I know if I should bring my waterbottle to save on purchasing water on trip.

Thank you

Answer
Hi Jaclyn!

Yes, there are water fountains around Paris and their water is perfectly drinkable.

Where there are no water fountains, you'd better buy mineral water from supermarkets rather then cafés or street vendors (it's much cheaper in supermarkets).

Have a good Sunday,

Carla
