It was at the end of the "Fraser Day" episode which was actually filmed on location at the Space Needle in Seattle. He stood on stage after credits and sang the theme out of character.

In the fifth season of the show There was an episode titled "The 1000th Show". It was a celebration of Frasier's 1000th radio show. The proclaimed "Fraiser Crane Day". At the end of that episode they show you a clip from "The Real Fraiser Day Rally" in Seattle on Sept. 11, 1997 and Kelsey Grammer is performing the theme song from the show.

they did this  for the 100th episode in season 5, titled "The 1000th Show". Hope that helps.

You can also see Kelsey Grammer performing the closing theme (in an abnormal, close-harmony variation with three backing singers) at the end of 'The 1,000th Show', which is in season 5.

This was on the 1000th episode I think titled "Frasier Crane Day" Kelsey Grammer performs the title theme live on the closing credits which were taped at the real Frasier Crane day.

On the episode called "1000 show" or something to that effect, the end credits show Frasier actually singing the theme song.

I dont know the name of the episode, but it was to celebrate Seattle's Frasier Crane Day, where a series of unfortunate incidents means Frasier misses his big Day.  At the end of the episode, when the credits are rolling, Kelsey Grammer can be seen singing the theme tune at the celebrations of the real Frasier Crane day in Seattle.  Hope this helps

A little known fact: Kelsey Grammer is well-known for breaking into a refrain of "Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs" at the drop of a hat. Grammer did this backstage during the filming of the pilot episode of Frasier, and the producers overheard and loved it. And so, that is how Frasier got it's theme song.

Perhaps this be "The 1000th Show" s5, ep5 where in the ending credits it says "The Real Fraiser Day Rally" and the actor sings the theme song.
