In the first line "hey baby I hear the blues a'callin" your interpretation was that Frasier has the blues and he's taking calls. However, I believe that Frasier has the blues because of the "Tossed Salads and scrambled eggs" who are calling him...otherwise it sounds dead on!

These lyrics, in the long tradition of the Blues, are filled with sexual innuendo. In the canon of the Blues, for example, "peaches" are not a fruit, nor is a lemon when a woman is asked to "squeeze my lemon 'til the juice runs down my leg". And a jellyroll certainly does not refer to a pastry. (the list of Black/ Southern idiom goes on and on).
In this case, "tossed salad" has a clear sexual connotation, as does "scrambled eggs". And a bit of research will reveal the meaning of "pegging" (as in "baby I've got you pegged".)
