Question My french horn says Caravelle by Don E. Getzen on the front. I wanted to know about the history of the horn/ company, if you know what key each side is in, and if you know where the serial number might be located. Thanks!
Answer Alainah,
I don't really know much about horn brands and makers as far as history goes. I did however find a page that is all about the history of Getzen instruments. It may also be worth looking at because it includes serial numbers for horns and what they may be worth. The serial number is usually located on the bell or on one of the pull out valves. It is different on all horns and I'm sure that you will be able to find the answer at the link below! Hope this helps!
