French Language/ elles/ eux

Question
Hi Caro.

Does one say/write " elles" or is it always " eux," regardless of gender?

Mike

Answer
Hi Mike,

One can say " elles".
example :
-A qui faut il donner le papier ?
- A elles.

However, in another context, we should use the pronoun for indirect objects :
example : il faut leur donner le papier (leur for both masculine and feminine).
I hope this helps

Cheers
