1.. "verbes propres" meaning the proper or correct verb to use with the noun.  It was not meant as a "type" of verb which perhaps you were thinking????????????

2.  What did you mean when you wrote "Ca me "coute" (cost???) beaucoup de me faire.

3.  Je vais à l'occasion voir un film.  Why don't we need "de" before "voir"?  If not, then it is always "Je vais voir" right?
I get mixed up when wording comes between the verb and another verb.

4.  Il y a "de" tres bons films. Why not "des", the plural?

5.  C'est "parce" "que" pour nous il y a beaucoup de petit pays à connaitre.  Why no " que" after "parce"?  I tought together parce and que make up "because".

Tu vas me donner une queston difficile en Anglais et j'essayerai mon mieux de repondre avec un bon réponse.  Tres intéressant pour moi.  J'aime résoudre des problems.  C'est bon pour le cerveau.

Merci beaucou madame Caro.

Answer
Hello Joan,

  continued

1.. "verbes propres" meaning the proper or correct verb to use with the noun.
=> in that case you should use "le verbe correct/ adéquat". Propre is just used with noms. un Nom propre is a proper noun.

2.  What did you mean when you wrote "Ca me "coute" (cost???) beaucoup de me faire.
=> yes couter = to cost. It means to make some efforts in order to do it.

3.  Je vais à l'occasion voir un film.  Why don't we need "de" before "voir"?  If not, then it is always "Je vais voir" right?
I get mixed up when wording comes between the verb and another verb.
=> no there is no "de". Je vais voir is correct.

4.  Il y a "de" tres bons films. Why not "des", the plural?
=> when there is an adjective before the noun, "des" becomes "de".
See with the example : il y a DES films => il y a DE très bons films

5.  C'est "parce" "que" pour nous il y a beaucoup de petit pays à connaitre.  Why no " que" after "parce"?  I tought together parce and que make up "because".
=> yes parce que = because. Did I forget the "que" in my previous answer? If yes, I am sorry for this oversight.

Tu vas me donner une questIon difficile en Anglais et j'essayerai de repondre DE MON MIEUX avec unE bonNE réponse.  Tres intéressant pour moi.  J'aime résoudre des problemEs.  C'est bon pour le cerveau.

Merci beaucouP madame Caro.
