Caro,

I made up the following sentence, so there may be several things wrong with it. But I am particularly interested in whether or not to use the subjunctive. Please correct the sentence in all the ways that are necessary.

Elle ment lorsqu'elle dit qu'elle s'est faite piquée par des moustiques.

Hi Mike,

In this case you need to use an infinitive form :
Elle ment lorsqu'elle dit s'être faite piquée par des moustiques / lorsqu'elle dit avoir été piquée par des moustiques. You canno use the subjunctive in this sentence.
