Hi Caro,

Please translate the following two sentences for me:

1. The man you saw leaving the store--what did he look like?

2. There is a statue of Champlain, but no one really knows what he looked like.

Thanks.

Answer
Hi Mike,

1. The man you saw leaving the store--what did he look like?
=> l'homme que tu as vu sortir du magasin, quoi ressemblait-il?

2. There is a statue of Champlain, but no one really knows what he looked like.
=> Il y a une statue de Champlain, mais personne ne sais vraiment quoi il ressemblait

you can also say de quoi il avait l'air.

I hop ethis helps

Cheers
