Freshwater Aquarium - tropical fish

Question
hi alex,  i have recently set up a juwel 96 aquarium and have had the fish in
the tank for just over a week and some of them are staying just near the filter
vertically. the fish that are doing this are silver tipped tetras. but they do
move and swim around and eat food when put in but then go back to this
position. are they ill or too hot? or what could you help please as i have done
everything to set up the aquarium correctly and dont get it.

thanks jon

Answer
They may just like the current the filter creates and swim with it. It could also be their territory so they guard it and it can also be that they follow a leader who just likes it there. Its nothing really to worry about unless they are not eating or doing very odd things. Hope this helped and relieved you. Have a nice day!
