Fruit - honeybell tree losing all it leaves

Expert: Nick McCann - 10/17/2009

Question
Nick,
I live in southwest Florida and I have a honeybell tree that is not fruit baring yet. All of a sudden I noticed all the leave were turning yellow. I see no fungus on the tree or bugs. Now all the leaves have started to fall off. Is there anything I can do? Thanks Josh

Answer
Hi Josh, there is numerous causes for this, what I need you to do is give me a synopsis of the care it has been given over the past year and a history of its production the last couple of years; Honeybells are notorious for giving fruit one year and next to nothing the next. The leaf shed though could be one of many reason. Nick
