Question I have one that my son gave me for Mothers day and have had them in the sun, I didn't know anything bout them and it has started to die, one half of it is gone. Can I take some of the good and water root them to start more plant for the other side? What type of food would you suggest to feed them? I love the plant and would even like to grow some, how would i start to do that? Thanks for your help in advance.

Answer Dear Hannah,
The probability is that the whole plant will die. The reason is not known from what you tell me.
The better aspect is that you can take cuttings from what is left. You can root them in water. Clearly you have done this with other plants. I would use a clear plastic plastic bag to do it and tie the top to keep it completely closed. Keep it out of direct sunlight. When rooted, pot them in a peat compost, to which add about one part vermiculite to 4 parts compost.
Any plant food is suitable is suitable, provided there are trace elements present. I use half strength feed twice as often as recommended. You won't do any harm using full strength every day,
One rooted cutting is all you need to get a new start, no need to use three or four.
