A friend has a rose quartet fuchsia and a small leafed fuchsia (doesn't know the name)and I am trying to buy them. He said he would try a cutting of the small leafed one. Do you happen to know names of fuchsia plants that can be bonsai because of the small leaves? And where can buy. I live in NY. Where can I buy a rose quartet?
Answer Hello Judy, I'm afraid I do not know where you can purchase fuchsia Rose Quartet. Perhaps The Earthworks Fuchsia Nursery may have it. This is a large mail order fuchsia nursery in the USA. a lot of fuchsias can be used for Bonsai training, one I tried some years ago was Hawkeshead, small leaves and tiny flowers.I found this variety easy to train into a small tree. I am sorry I don't have more information on Bonsai. Kind Regards William.
