Question
When I moved into my house,I didn't know I had a cute little Fuchsia on the North side of the house, until I did some weeding.  My Fuchsia started to grow and blossom.  Now that that it is fall,it looks like some thing is eating the leaves.  I thought it could snails.  I am not sure what it is?!!! Please help, Thanks, Michelle

Answer
Hello Michelle,From the information you have given me, it seems snails are the culprits. In France it is also the fall but because it is still quite warm, we have been getting a late butterfly invasion and this is a problem because the caterpillars are also munching the leaves away. I have to use slug pellets here to repel the snails and spray the plants to see off the caterpillars. I think you are correct, it is snails that are eating your plants. Kind Regards William.
